There is a critical need to “develop,” aka remember, and realign with our intuition.
Our bodies are fine-tuned instruments that carry the wisdom of the ancients. When you take into account that early human ancestors were present on this planet between 5 and 7 million years ago, and human language developed only “recently”, in the last 50,000 years, according to some estimates, you may come to understand that our survival and evolution through millions of years was achieved without the assistance of our modern brains. The neo-cortex, which governs higher functions such as sensory perception, generation of motor commands, spatial reasoning, conscious thought, and language, is a relatively new phenomenon. This is all to say that our modern culture has become obsessed with an over emphasis on cognitive function and intellectual development, so much so that we’ve eclipsed and neglected our ancient and sophisticated systems of internal antennae that are meant to serve as our instinctual barometers. We have lost feeling in our sensory systems and forgotten our animal nature. In short, we’ve fallen asleep at the wheel of our lives. It is my intention to serve as a teacher to those who are called in their hearts to (re)awaken into their bodies and realign with their inner wisdom.
