Background
My interest in the healing arts began early in life. I’ve always been a “spiritual seeker,” fascinated with the innate healing wisdom of the human body. This affinity for Holistic medicine led me on a personal path of optimal wellness.
My Bachelor degree was in Women’s Studies, but my undergraduate education included a diverse array of interests including foreign languages, religious and contemplative studies, counseling psychology, western medical sciences, emergency medicine, nutrition and various modalities of natural healing. My “formal training” began with a 4-year graduate degree in Classical Chinese Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. After receiving a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) in 2006, I became nationally board certified in Acupuncture and Herbalism and I hold an Acupuncture license (LAc) in Oregon and Washington.
Throughout my personal and professional evolution I’ve been fortunate to have been mentored by several extraordinary wellness professionals who have had a profound impact on my wellbeing. I have boundless gratitude for this “Council of Elders” who guided me as I developed as a healer and continue to support me as I refine my skills as a practitioner. I have worked with both Colleen Coleman and Joan Jerman (both Intuitive Healers) for over 15 years and have participated in Joan’s Inner Wisdom Mentoring Program for over 5 years. Also, I am currently studying with Lorie Dechar and Benjamin Fox in the 3rd year of their Alchemical Healing Mentorship.
My focus as a Holistic Wellness Mentor is treating the Spirit•Mind•Body and assisting people in cultivating their intuition.
I live with my nomadic family in exquisitely beautiful places, including Oregon, Colorado and Panama. My greatest joy is rejoicing in the gifts of the natural world and playing in the mountains, rivers and oceans with my loved ones.
